Low Level Design

Low Level Design

Low Level Design (LLD) is detailing the HLD and defines the actual logic for each and every component of the solution. Detailed Network Security functional diagrams with all the methods and relation between each logic comes under the LLD. Technical specifications are covered under LLD with direct references to the HLD. LLD describes each and every functional part of the solution in an extensive manner so that the implementer can directly translate and configure the solution based on this.

With Oceanic Technologies Professional Services you can be assured the Low Level Design is a complete document covering all aspects of the technical design and justifications; from functions and features, limitations, caveats and configuration information. With our expertise and experience we will ensure a sound network security design methodology is translated into the LLD.

The Low Level Design Document content includes;

  • Overall High Level Design Architecture and Solution
  • Detailed Low Level Solution Architecture
  • Key technical decisions translated into how it will be implemented
  • Physical and Line Diagrams with Physical Connectivity Matrix
  • Logical Diagrams
  • IP and VLAN Schema
  • Low Level Design Principles
  • Functions and Features implemented
  • Device Configuration with references to the requirements from the HLD

Once the LLD documentation has been provided to the customer a formal review meeting can be conducted to ensure consistency and carry out any validation and review of the LLD before proceeding with implementation services. Oceanic Technologies or customer’s implementation engineers are then able to quickly translate the design document into the necessary steps required to configure the solution design. The LLD also serves as a reference for future design of similar solutions; any change to the existing or proposed design is then revision controlled.

Plan, Design, Implement, Operate and Optimize is the network and security infrastructure methodology we at Oceanic Technologies utilize. Whether we are involved in one process or a complete set of processes during the project lifecycle we maintain complete transparency and coherentness through each phase of the project.
